Social Media & Marketing Executive

Role Overview

\n

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media & Marketing Executive will be responsible for the creating exciting and engaging content across our marketing and social media communities, and supporting the Marketing Manager in increasing brand awareness.

\n

  

\n

Key roles and responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Post regularly on our social media with a range of content.
\n
• Support the Marketing Manager in the execution of brand campaigns.
\n
• Research and propose to Marketing Manager brand relevant content creators and influencers to work with.
\n
• Communicate with customers via social media in a brand suitable voice (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and other relevant channels). Respond to comments and enquiries, escalating any feedback where necessary.
\n
• Develop and implement the social media strategy with the aim of increasing our brand awareness, following, reach and engagement.
\n
• Manage asset creation specific for social media, liaising internally with intention to develop own skills to manage solely.
\n
• Create social ads, monitor, optimise and report on the effectiveness, working within allocated budgets.
\n
• Assist in the creation of other digital content e.g, video with external agencies.
\n
• Plan, execute and cover various events across the UK.
\n
• Build relationships with influencers and PR contacts, on social – editors, fashion assistants, stylists, content creators etc.
\n
• Assist with press enquiries.
\n
• Monitor competitors’ activities and keeping the business informed.
\n
• Work within budgets for gifting, alongside the Marketing Manager.
\n
• Ad hoc duties as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.
\n

Key skills

\n

\n
• Excellent writing, organisational and communication skills.
\n
• Excellent eye for creative assets – important to have a creative eye for photography, colour, content, and graphics.
\n
• Experience creating ads on social media.
\n
• Creative thinker, ability to use both data and trends to inform decisions.
\n
• Proficiency in using social media software & tools and a CMS system.
\n
• Ability to answer to followers’ comments in on on-brand voice.
\n
• Demonstrated experience to work towards tight deadlines.
\n
• Must have a flexible approach to working hours
\n
